Hans Appel, Rebecca Berthold, and Matthias Wangenheim were in Akron, OH, in September. Hans Appel gave a presentation titled “Influence of Tread Block Stiffness on Tire Traction” to highlight changes in grip behavior over the course of a tire's life. We also presented three posters on the topics of “Demolding of structured tires,” “Snow grip of rough winter tires,” and the internal drum test bench.
