Goals

The lecture deals with the vehicle tire as an essential integral component of the chassis or the vehicle. At the beginning of the lecture, the focus is on the economic consideration of the market and the business environment of the tire industry. Subsequently, the tire is described in its constructive and material-technical design; in particular, its property-relevant characteristics and its interaction with the vehicle are discussed in detail.
