On 16.10.2023, 14 pupils from grades 4-6 were guests at the IDS. The Gauß AG offers exciting holiday courses in which interested pupils can become researchers themselves for a week and work on exciting projects.
At IDS, the pupils were allowed to spend a day experimenting and discovering and exploring vibrations in everyday life. For example, the natural frequencies of a plate were made visible with the help of sand as so-called Chladnian sound figures.
