On 16.08.2022, 16 students from 13 different countries were guests at IDS as part of the TU9-Eng week. The goal of the program is to offer the participants an impression of the study programs in engineering and natural sciences. A special focus is to focus on socially relevant topics of the future.
At IDS, the students were given an introduction to our research and were allowed to explore vibrations themselves using exciting examples. For example, the natural frequencies of a plate were made visible as so-called Chladni figures with the help of sand.
