ANSYS Workbench II Tutorial

Based on the tutorial Structural Mechanics Modeling in ANSYS Workbench, this tutorial covers various advanced topics. The topics are briefly introduced and then presented using practical examples. This knowledge is then applied and deepened in the homework assignments.

Contents and goals

The graduates of the tutorial are able to

  • integrate their own simple functions into Ansys Workbench projects using APDL (Ansys Parametric Design Language)
  • carry out data import and export
  • acquire competence in systematic troubleshooting
  • can combine several analysis methods
  • carry out simple structural-mechanical optimizations

Previous knowledge

Previous knowledge from the lectures Finite Elements I and Engineering Dynamics is recommended.

Prior completion of the tutorial Structural Mechanics Modeling in ANSYS Workbench I​​​​​​​ is recommended for participation.
